She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kies and Vera Kies (Miars). She is survived by: her husband Willie Winter of Wapakoneta, Ohio; her son Brian Winter (Kristen) of Plain City, Ohio; her siblings, Marilyn Wills (Tom) of Wapakoneta, Ohio and John Kies (Bev) of Asheville; her sister-in-law Marlene Nelson; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah Clayton (Jeremy), Adrienne Kies, Kristen Thorez (Gerard), Stephanie Owen (Andrew), Kay Dorner (Jeff), Craig Brown (Linda), Dan Wills (Valerie) and Steve Wills (Ali).
