He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Carter and Hattie Carter (Miller); his grandchildren, Grace Elisabeth Schoonover and Lane Arnell Hursh; and his siblings, Erma McGrath (Grant), Elmer Carter, William Carter (Lucille), Nellie Martin (Charles), Lucille Claybaugh (Rex) and Abrahm Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Larissa Osbun (Mike), Loretta Diehl (Bill), Mike Carter (Lois), Andy Carter, Lana Hall, Tamara Belisle, Brian Carter (Louise), Linda Wolf (Karl) and Laura Shepherd (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Rowena Carter and Mary Lou Carter. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
Due to family with severe allergies and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Waynesfield Baptist Church.
