He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Nieter and Edna Nieter (Schierholt); his spouse Jean Bartlett (McLaughlin); his sons, Mike Bartlett (Susan) of Wapakoneta, Jeff Bartlett (Kathy) of Wapakoneta, Preston Bartlett (Gay Lynn) of Kettering, Brad Bartlett (Cheryl) of Huber Heights, Dan Nieter (Kathy Hurt) of Van Wert and Dave Nieter of New Richmond; and his siblings, Judy K. Broy-Nieter and Jim Nieter. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Putnam County Hospice.
