Downey and Kathryn Downey (Reilly); his children, Thomas Downey of Las Vegas, NV and Margaret Hand (Patrick) of Fairborn; his grandchildren, Emily of Fairborn, Gracie of Fairborn and Reilly Hand of Fairborn; his father-in-law Gordon Newland (Theresa) of Wapakoneta; his siblings-in-law, Robert Newland (Lisa) of Naples, FL and Tonya Stanley of Naples, FL; his sister Mary Margaret Carey; and his brother-in-law William Newland. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
