It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane E. Bender of Wapakoneta, Ohio, born in Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Rita Wendel (Soder) of Botkins; her father-in-law Howard Bender (Berneda); and her sister Joan Hindenlang (Jack). She is survived by: her children, Libby Sheets (Wil) of Elida, Aaron Bender (Ann) of Wapakoneta and Brett Bender of Green Springs; her grandchildren, Gage, Emmitt Henkener, Roan and Zane Bender; and her siblings, Jean Egbert (Richard) of New Knoxville, Bill Wendel (Elaine) of Botkins and Janet Wendel of Mason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue or to the Auglaize County Humane Society. All memorial contributions may be mailed directly to the Bender family at 13890 Kuenstle Rd., Wapakoneta, OH 45895.
