He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Becher and Matilda Becher (Brown); his sister Marlene Becher; and his brother-in-law James Searfoss (Melanie). He is survived by : his children, Beth Derringer of Westerville, Kelly Walburg (John) of Claremont, CA and Jeffrey Becher (Amy) of Wapakoneta; his grandchildren, Debra (Michael), Jonathan, Alex, Addison, Aubrey, Morgan, Mason and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Maria, Elena and Wyatt; and his brother-in-law Jerry Searfoss (Carol) of Troy, MI..

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 Dixie Hwy, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (101 W Pearl St, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
