She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Haney and Myrtle Haney (Arnett); her daughter-in-law Lary Patton (Linda Patton); her siblings, Ruby Haney, Ethel Sawyer, Hazel Collins, Elmer, Carl, Charles and James Haney; and her stepchildren-in-law, Ed Schmerge and Bobbie Morey.
She is survived by: her former husband Franklin P. Patton; her daughters, Kathy Geren (Paul) of Jensen Beach, FL, Vicki Dillenbeck (Neil) of Grand Rapids, MI and Karita Mechenbier (Tom) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Sasha Melendy (Matt), Clint Allen, D. Kelly Dawson, Dustin Dawson, Chad Patton (Sierra) and Stacey Lawrence (Shane); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Claire Melendy, Tavin Allen, Kenzie Dawson, Ty, Kylie and Carter Lawrence; her sister Jeanie Halsell; her husband James Oen; and her stepchildren, Rick Oen, Rachel Oen, Joy Schmerge, Rex Oen (Jennifer) and Ralph Oen (Danielle). She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She loved flowers, but also contributed to the American Heart Association, 9825 Kenwood Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242 and Kidney Foundation, 2831 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
