He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Betterly and Lois Bertella Yost (Hess); and his siblings, Donald W. Yost, Doyle R. Yost, Elizabeth Chesbrough and Laura Gierhart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Sherry Ann Robinette (Franklin) of Springfield and Wendy Lyn Williams (Scott) of Lima; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Devin, Logan, Paige and Chloe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
