She was predeceased by: her parents, John Getsy and Rose Depto Getsy; her former husband James E. McConnell; her daughter Roseann Cox; her great grandchildren, Addison and Adelynne McMichael; and her brother Jack Getsy.
She is survived by: her children, James 'Jim' McConnell (Robyn) and Margaret 'Margie' McConnell of Wapakoneta; her children-in-law, Tammy McConnell of Lima and Gary Cox of Lima; her grandchildren, Jennifer McMichael (Anthony), Sondra Flack (Craig), Brandon McConnell, Emmalee McConnell, Anthony Cox, Stacia Jaeger (Michael), Rachael Reeder (Geoff), Gary Cox (Erika), Jacob Springer (Margaret) and Mary Rose Deringer (David); her sister-in-law Rose Piersanti of North Canton; and her granddaughter Mary Deringer. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
