He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sorensen and Dorothy Koepke (Seitz); and his stepfather Grayson Koepke. He is survived by: his children, Chris Sorensen (Yvonne) of Wapakoneta and Jill Sparks (Mike) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Harrison, Stephanie Sorensen and Kirsten Sparks; and his siblings, Chad Sorensen, Janet Harder, Galen Koepke, Randy Koepke (Debbie), Keith Koepke (Rhonda) and Kathy Cochran (Barry).

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Auglaize County Humane Society.
