He was predeceased by: his parents, Vilas Ray and Rosaline Cathrine Jacobs; and his siblings, Melvin Whetstone, Allen Leroy Whetstone, Janet Marie Whetstone and Marilyn Sue Whetstone.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Whetstone; and his children, Amelia Sterner (Chad) of Uniopolis, Catherine Fisher (Brian) of Uniopolis, Deana Kramer (Bill) of Cridersville and Eddie Whetstone of Buckland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
