She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Aloysius Kaverman and Laura Kaverman (Laudick); her husband Robert A. Heitz; her sisters, Alene Klausing and Janet Hiett; her siblings-in-law, Martha Kaverman and Ed Utrup; her son Gregory; her siblings, Betty Beckmann (Leonard), Alice Knippen (Norman), Margaret Pohlman (Paul), Ruth Utrup, Eugene (Esther) and Louis Kaverman; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Klausing and Tom Hiett. She was also cherished by 32 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren.
