He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Dietz and Esther Dietz (Grodey); his grandson Lucas Dietz; his siblings, William "Bill" Dietz and Alice Behr (late Joseph); and his wife Delores Schetter (Bob).
He is survived by: his children, Frank Dietz (Jeannie) of Lakeview, OH and Norma Rower (Gary) of Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Amber Holtzapple (Travis), Amanda Berger (Craig), Kate Giddens (Eric) and Adam; his granddaughter-in-law Chanzie Dietz; his great grandchildren, Madilynn, Allyson Dietz, Damion, Ryan Miusic, Kaden, Ava Holtzapple, Owen Gierhart, Braelyn, Brandon Berger, Anna, Penelope Kriegel, Thomas and Siena Giddens; his sisters, Martha Etgen (Oscar), Elaine Schick (late Richard) and Ruth Behr; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Block and Evelyn Kohler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
