He is survived by: his wife Elsie Steinke; his children, Angie McGlothen (Dana Fair) of Spencerville and Kevin McGlothen (Angie) of Saint Marys; his grandchildren, Tyler McGlothen (Alexandria), Sydney McGlothen, Karsyn McGlothen, Rilyn McGlothen and Lynex McGlothen; and his brothers, Jim McGlothen of Portage, Indiana and Jerry McGlothen (Roberta) of Saint Marys.
