He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carey Mauk and Roberta Mauk (Zwick); his wife Lillian Focht; his children, Ella Jergens of Cincinnati, Patrick Mauk (Julia) of Dayton, Nancy Valentine (Raymond) of Anna, Anna James (Jeremy) of Marion and Ronald Mauk; his daughter-in-law Marylou Mauk; his siblings, Leslie Thais, David Mauk (Marit Dale), Ann Bonito and Sara Mauk-O'Connor; his son Harry William Mauk; his grandson Jacob Matthew Valentine; his daughter-in-law Candria Mauk; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Bonito and Michael O'Connor. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue or to any military organization.
