He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie C. King and Virgie King (Murphy); his stepmother Bertha King; his wife Sharon L. Wagner; his daughter Susan King; and his brother Ed Epperson.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon F. King of Botkins, OH, Sherry L. Spaugy (Joe), Stacy E. King, Tony King (Bobbi) of Corpus Christi, TX, Nick, Sam Kiefer, Scott Kiefer and Kerry Kiefer; his siblings, Avalene "Avie" Tabler and Dave Billiter (Jackie); and his close friend Linda Stolzenburg. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
