He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Stella E.; his children, Kathleen Springer (Joseph), Larry (Mary) and James (Joan); his grandchildren, Michael (Lisa Newland), Jon, David (Jessica), Matthew (Kasie), Nathan (July) and Rachel Gallik (James); his great grandchildren, Karli, Jacob, Collin, Christian, Evie and Brandon; and his siblings, Frank Lyzen, Sylvester "Bud", Joseph, Sophie Kavlich and Lillian Bugajski.

Friends received at the ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE., BEDFORD, (ONE MILE WEST OF THE FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), FRIDAY, SEPT. 11 FROM 4 – 8 P. M. with a prayer service at 7:30 P. M. Services, Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10:00 A. M. followed by burial at All Saints Cemetery. (Masks required and social distancing observed).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
