She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe M. Pike and Eugenie Pike (Adams); and her brothers, Roscoe A. and Ronald M. Pike. She is survived by: her husband George Edward Bender; her children, Mark A. Bender (Fu-Wei Bender) of Dublin, OH, Nathan E. Bender (Heather), Pamela M. Hoesman (John P. Hoesman) of Woodville, OH and Karen R. Chatfield (Donald Chatfield) of Shelburne, VT; her grandchildren, Laura Pfeiffer, Ann Hoesman, Marston Bender, Madeline Bender and Gordon Bender; and her great grandchild Calvin Pfeiffer.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (201 W High Ave, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
