She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Hughes and Mollie Hughes (Landis); and her siblings, Eddie, Larry Hughes, Darlene Hughes, Nadine Olson (Alvin) and Margaret Willey.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Peters (Mark) of Max Meadows, VA, Jim Howard of New Guilford and David Howard (Betsy) of Utica; her grandchildren, Kristina LeBlanc of Galax, VA, Joshua Peters (Kelsie) of Omaha, NE, Desa Daniels (Kyrus) of Utica, Hayla of Johnstown, Jenna Howard of Johnstown, Violet Miller and Arlo Howard of Utica; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Elias, Lorallei, Mia and Zane; her siblings, Bernard Hughes, Jr. (Mary) of Walhonding, Joann Moore of Mt. Vernon, Betty Jean Olson (Ronald) of Mt. Vernon and Susie Elliot of Newcomerstown; and her sister-in-law Mary Hughes of Fallsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
