Wilbur John Horner Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilbur John Horner Jr. of Walbridge, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Horner and Clara Horner Sr. (Huss); his wife Marilyn (Moorehead); his son Christopher Horner; and his sister Mary Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Horner (Vicki), Karen Garn, Stephen Horner (Sue) and Norman Horner (Debbie); his grandchildren, Melissa Carter (Will), Nick Garn, Aaron Horner, Kacie Beirnes (Landon), Eric Schroeder (Adrianna), Kassandra Combs (Justin), Nathan Horner (Elizabeth) and Brittan Horner; and his brother Richard Horner. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freck Funeral Chapel (1155 S Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (300 Warner St, Walbridge, OH 43465). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
