Johnson and Carrie Miklovich (Eric); his grandchildren, Ashley Souza (Robert), Ashton, Sawyer Caryer, Lauren Johnson and Oliver Miklovich; his siblings, Jimmie Johnson, Jeanne Kuyoth and Nancy Potter; his brothers-in-law, Robert Billings (Claudia), Ronald Billings (Sara) and Donald Billings; and his close friends, Larry Sigler and Kenny Gilsdorf.
