He was predeceased by: his parents, James Posey and Helen Posey; his wives, Mary Lou Kitchen and Susanne Oates; his son Tim Posey; and his sister Sandra.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Posey (Trudi), Bill Posey and Jim Posey (Linda); his daughter-in-law Nancy Posey; his grandchildren, Erica Messinger (Simon), Scott Posey (Samantha), Jimmy Posey and Drew Posey; his great grandchildren, Brock, Reid, Brayden and Landon; and his sister Maxine Posey.
Memorial contributions in Richard's honor may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
