He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amado L. Canales and Olivia Canales (Cantu); his wife Emma Canales; his children, Steven Canales, Lisa Canales-Smith (Rier) and Victoria Canales; his grandchildren, Santino Canales, Celina Forbes, Stephen Flores, Dominick Flores, Angel Korotnayi, Anthony Pratt and Andrew Pratt; his great grandchildren, Levi, Leo, Isabella, Sophia, Rhett, Lillie, Glenn and Gabriel; and his siblings, Dora Rodriquez, Mary Martinez, Gloria Rodriquez, Benito Canales and Roberto Canales.
Memorial donations in Homer's name may be made to the Cancer Society or Angel's Outreach Program.
