He was predeceased by: his daughter Pamela Spencer; and his daughter-in-law Patricia McComis. He is survived by: his wife Cova McComis (Burchett); his sons, Bruce D. McComis and Dan McComis; his son-in-law Mervin Spencer; his grandchildren, Holly Joyce (John), Julia Spencer (Nick), Dan McComis and Maudie McComis; and his great grandchildren, Sindy Spencer, Eva Joyce and Sadie Gerard.
