With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susanne C. Balmert of Wakeman, Ohio, who passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Balmert; her parents, Oscar Lang and Catherine Lang; her brother Oscar Lang Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Rose Balmert.

She is survived by: her children, James Balmert of Lorain, Edward Balmert of Lorain, Sandra Blackford of Wakeman and Christine Adam of Charlotte, NC; and her siblings, John Lang, Elizabeth Butts of Streetsboro and Carol Balmert of Berlin Hts. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
