He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Matus and Mary Matus (Molchan); and his siblings, Mary Leslie, Irene Wohleber, Marty Matus, Steve Matus, Paul Matus and Edward Matus.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine; his children, Renee Bartlett (Dennis), Roberta Haney (Bill), Pamela Ristas (Gust), Nicole Cassell (Barry) and Robert Matus (Kellie); and his sister Theresa Wukie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
