He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kormish and Mary Kormish (Chulick); his siblings, William "Bill" Kormish, John Kormish and Marilyn "Jean" Yovanovich; and his nephew George Yovanovich.

He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his children, Katie Kormish, Jake Kormish (Jennifer) and Michael Kormish (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Richard Suda (Kristen), Rachael Jenkins (Cody), Sarah Kormish, Heidi Kormish and Amy Kormish; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Elliot and Malachi; his sister Delores Kurowski (Lol); and his nieces, Linda Gill and Sandy Yovanovich. He is also survived by the love of his life, whom he married.
