It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Doris Shaeffer of Wakeman, Ohio, born in Sugar Grove, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Bayless and Mary Ellen Bayless; and her siblings, Barbara Jean Donaldson and Ronnie Bayless. She is survived by: her children, Jack R. O'Leary of Lorain and Jodie Wisniewski (Edward "Edju") of Vermilion; her grandchildren, David, Dennis, Dwayne, Kelly and Nathan; and her brother Rudolf Shaeffer of Norwalk. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
