He was predeceased by: his wife Vietia Rondell Fields; his son Richard Allen Fields; his siblings, Robert Fields, Jerry Fields, Billy Fields and Pearl Fields; and his son-in-law Thomas Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Billy D. Fields of Clyde, Gary W. Fields (Misty) of Wakeman and Sherri L. Hall of Wakeman, Ohio; his granddaughter Danielle K. Harp (Dan) of Norwalk; his sisters, Annis Greathouse of Clay County and Jeanne Owens (Oliver) of Maryland; and his sister-in-law Janice Fields of Bryans Road. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
