It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Matus of Wakeman, Ohio, born in Dunkirk, New York, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Matus, Sr.; her parents, Charles Dodge and Matilda Armbruster (Eberly); her sons-in-law, Robert Wagner and James Donohue; her sister Mary Ann Firth; and her great grandchild Briar Matus.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Matus, John Matus (Marlene), Thomas Matus (Betty), Peter Matus, Joseph Matus, Kathleen Donohue, Patricia Chorak (James), Francine Hajski (Robert) and Belinda Wagner; and her grandchildren, Kyle Matus (Kristen), Stephanie Matus (Brett), Natalie Donohue (Jim), Adrienne Ippolito (Matt), Jessica Collett (Chris), Tabitha Bender (Luke), Bailey Deulley (Bruce), Amanda Brezinski (Zack), Sarah Gerber (Kevin), Ed Gerber, Danielle Martin (Alex), Ashley Matus, Erika Matus (Rob) and Samantha Matus. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
