He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Champney and E. Elizabeth Champney (Sanders); and his wife Kathy Champney. He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Bersagel (Eric); his granddaughter Lexi (Ali Bersagel); and his siblings, Judith Champney, Melissa Springer-Mest and Ronald Champney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
