It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Matus of Wakeman, Ohio, born in Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Matus; her daughter Paula; her parents, Leo Grimmer and Agnes Grimmer (Blinzley); and her siblings, Rita Heston, Katherine Barnes, Anna Fritz, Edna Jarrett and Harold Grimmer.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Davidson (Peter Yaworsky) of Oberlin, Dr. Paul Matus (Linda), Craig Matus (Deb) and Jean Paskert (Michael); her grandchildren, Janine Troilo (John), Eric (Amy), Nicholas (Katelin), Kurt, Lauren Matus, Alison Schiraldi (Dan), Andrea Fox (Josh) and Michael; her cousins, Andrew, Will (Amy) and Ryan (Hanna); and her siblings-in-law, Grace Matus, Theresa Wukie and Bob Matus, Sr.. She is also survived by Cousins; 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
