He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda L. Byrd; his sister-in-law Julie; and his parents, Manerd Byrd and Dorothy Byrd. He is survived by: his siblings, Herman Byrd, Christopher Byrd, Elva Nickeson (Bill) and Erma Monhollen (Denver). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
