He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Starbuck (Dodds); his wife Helen "Audrey" Starbuck; his siblings, William "Bill", Glen, Ray, Norma Richison, Carol Pongracz and Evelyn Phillips; and his father Howard Starbuck.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Starbuck of Wakeman, Kathleen "Kitsy" Noftz (Steve) of Huron and Donald A. Starbuck, Jr. (Jane) of Graytown; his grandchildren, Ryan Noftz (Elizabeth), Amanda Kromer (Luke) and Andrea Meinhold; and his brothers, Marvin Starbuck of Amherst, Dale Starbuck of Amherst and David Starbuck of California. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
