He is survived by: his children, Michael Dean Abel, Karen Abel, Aimee Dean (Stephen), Lori Hahn (John), James Dean Abel, Jack Abel and Alexander Abel (Dasha); his grandchildren, Hannah Abel, Natalie Abel, Zachary Brant, Lainey Dean and Mason Dean; and his brothers, Edward Arthur Abel, Gerald Allen Abel and James Albert Abel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
