He was predeceased by: his parents, Doy Crites and Lula Crites; his wife Hilda Crites; and his son David Crites. He is survived by: his children, Richard Crites (Jasmine), Randall Crites, Dale Crites (Sheila), Sherry Lowe (Jim), Angel Kelley (Chris) and Debbie Crites. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cox-McNulty Funeral Home (1376 High St, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
