She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Koon and Carrie Koon; her husband Robert Falk Shaffer; and her siblings, Richard Koon and Georgeann Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Shaffer and Michelle Serra (Nicholas); her granddaughter Emily Murray; her siblings, Alberta Witten of Wadsworth and Clarence "Sonny" Koon (Marge) of Pittsburgh, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Jeannine Koon of Palo Alto, CA, Bob Johnston of Wadsworth and Dr. David Shaffer (Sally) of Akron. She is also survived by her children and granddaughter.
