He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Thompson and Myrtle Thompson; his siblings, Nola, Winnie, Hank, Frannie and Bill; his daughter-in-law Dorothy; and his great grandchild Jacob Robert Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Barb (Fisher); his children, Bob Thompson, Val Baughman (Jerry) and Karen Smith (Fred); his grandchildren, Crystal, Christopher Robert (Lauren), Jessica and Jeff; his great grandchildren, Thurston, Sutton, Connor and Brodie; and his brothers, Dick (Pauline) and Harold (Donna).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion or Summa Hospice.
