She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Drake and Sheldon "Pappy" Drake; her brother Sheldon Drake Jr.; her husband Charles Heilman; and her son Timothy Heilman.

She is survived by: her daughter Lydia Davis of Atlanta; and her siblings, James Drake of Texas and Susan Leggett of Lodi.
