He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Simmons and Helen Simmons (Neehouse); his wife Carol Simmons (Cusack); and his grandson Brent Capron. He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Douglas (Jim), Stephanie Capron (Mike) and Cary Goodin; his brother Garen Simmons; his grandchildren, Caitlin Rambacher (Donny), Hayley Kueterman (AJ), Madelyn Capron, Mitchell Capron and Bryce Goodin; and his great grandchild Maeve Rambacher.
