He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Piepho and Iva Piepho; his siblings, Mary Frances, John, Donald, Dale, Albert and David; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sister Alice (Wally Neath); his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Piepho, Faye Piepho, Lee Piepho, Diane Goodrich (John), Elaine Reichart, Mary White (Timothy) and Timothy Carlson (Kathy); his sons, Scott (Elizabeth Reilly) and Keith (Lori Day); his stepchildren, Kevin Lieb (Heather), Kirk Lieb (Joelle) and Kiersten Pasciak (Jason); and his grandchildren, Vieve, Kelsey, Jacob, Zale, Hayden, Emma, Andrew and Grace.
Donations in his honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Akron Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio.
