With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert J. Champlin in Wadsworth, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Champlin and Louis Champlin (Wasshausen); and his brothers, Donald and Thomas Champlin. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Champlin (Sabol); his daughters, Kathy Kirk (Bill) and Pam Gibson (John); his grandchildren, Lyndsey Heffern (Tom), Miles Kirk, Nicole Gibson and Gabrielle Gibson; and his great grandchild Graham Heffern.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (1263 Shannon Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summa Hospital Cardiac Rehab, 141 N. Forge St., Akron, 44304 or the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Prince of Peace.
