He was predeceased by: his parents, Mickey K Smith (Terry) and Virgil T Smith, Jr.; and his sister Merilee K. Mills (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Linda M. (Data); his sons, Nicholas T. and Stephen P. (Jessica); his granddaughters, Eleanor Rose (Ellie) and Riley Rose Terry; and his siblings, Virgil T. III (Norma), Anna M. Shields (Daniel) and Dennis R. (Amy).
