He was predeceased by: his brother John; his grandson Michael Akers; and his parents, Michael Menyes and Katharina Menyes. He is survived by: his wife Emily Falkenstein; and his children, Michael Menyes (Kathy), Kathy DiBello (Dave), Richard Menyes (Sherri) and Diane Akers (Tim). He is also survived by his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
