We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2022, at the age of 56, Joseph Ray Hammitt of Wadsworth, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Howard Hammitt; his stepmother Barbara Hammitt (Britt); and his stepbrother Wayne Britt. He is survived by: his brothers, James Hammitt (Sandra) and Jeff Hammitt (Brenda); his former wife Vicki Lucas; and his close friend Tammy Taubert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
