He is survived by: his wife Michele; his children, John Jr. (Karen) and Suzie Hassinger (Craig); his grandchildren, Haley Duerr (Josh), Katie, Tori Baker and Nick Hassinger; his great grandchild Hudson Duerr; his siblings, Lois Kuntz (Jim), Rita Youngblood and Don Baker (Barb); and his brother-in-law John Sharkey (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
