It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette M. Spicer of Wadsworth, Ohio, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Barker and Marion Barker (Lenhart); and her sister Jeanice Rexroad of Cincinnati. She is survived by: her daughters, Karin Spicer (Ed Blake) of Bellbrook and Beth Jack (Tim) of Akron; her granddaughters, Lauren Bisanz (Dan) of Atlanta, Shannon Jack of Columbus and Jordan Blake of Cincinnati; her siblings, Jackie Silvers, Joan McCoy and Juanita Ghem; and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Spicer, Bill F. Spicer and Robert Spicer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Because of her donations, families enjoyed using the books at Abby's Nook at the Miami Valley South Hospital Shaw Emergency Department and at Abby's Nook at the Miami Valley Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care in the Berry Building.
