He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Whitman and Jean Whitman; his wife Judith; his children, Lori De Angelis (Tony), Daniel Whitman (Gretchen) and Diane Stuart (Doug); his brother Jim; his aunt Greta Steeg; and his siblings-in-law, Jon and Jane. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
