He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold John and Grace Irene Truex; and his sisters, Helen Doyle and Evelyn Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Pat Truex (Patrica Ann Edwards); his children, John Truex of Aiken, SC and Julie Fuerst (Rick) of Stafford, VA; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Melissa Fuerst-Kubota (Teru) and Anna. He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home (174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
