She was predeceased by: her parents, Tab Carter and Betty Burner; her stepmother Irene Carter; her stepson Randy McVay; and her siblings, Jimmy Mitchell, Bob Mitchell, Carol Lee Bateman and Carol Dillon.
She is survived by: her husband Ted McVay of Wadsworth; her son Tommy Lucas (Algen); her stepson Danny McVay (Lori); her siblings, Beulah Miller, Ann Stout, Theresa Miller and Dick Burner; her grandchildren, T. J. Lucas (Megan), Bryan Lucas, Beverly Barden (Jaquez), Stephanie Majer (Scott), Jacob McVay (Michelle), Steven McVay, Kelly McVay and Dylan McVay; her great grandchildren, Maliyah, Zara, Skylar of Luke, A. J. and Cole; and her sisters, Susie Hamilton (Guy) and Cindy McCrork (Frank).
